The steel undergoes a dual melting process, beginning in an Electric Furnace and followed by Vacuum Arc Remelt (VAR), also known as Consumable Electrode Vacuum Arc Remelting (CEVM). This method ensures a cleaner and higher quality steel, meeting the rigorous magnetic particle inspection criteria of AMS-2300.
